Jumping on the nostalgia bandwagon from Children’s Book Week, I’d thought I’d share a few thoughts on how my reading habits as a kid have influenced my life.

Hey guys! Welcome to Children’s Book Week 2010! It’s that wonderful time of year again where the literary world takes a moment to appreciate the magical affect children’s literature brings to readers of all ages.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly book meme hosted by Should Be Reading, where we share a “teaser” from a book we’re currently reading.

This year marked the 14th annual LA Times Festival of Books and my first time experiencing it. Started in 1996, the festival is held on the UCLA campus during the last weekend in April and features publishers, authors, and vendors from all over the country.
